State and local politicians touted the new Missouri 179 interchange with Mission Drive at a Thursday morning ribbon-cutting.

The new interchange will provide access to a new St. Mary’s Health Center development, using Mission Drive, a $2.5 million access road being funded by the city and county. Work on the new St. Mary’s hospital started in April.
