Man finds python in Missouri garden
Friday, July 13, 2012
CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (AP) — A python is captured but authorities in the southeast Missouri town of Caruthersville are still looking for a big boa constrictor that is missing from a home.
KFVS-TV (http://bit.ly/LSwSCk ) reports that a man who was picking cucumbers in his garden Thursday found the python that had escaped from a neighbor’s home. Investigators went to that house and found two alligators and another snake, but also were told that a boa constrictor, perhaps 7 feet long, is missing.
The animals were confiscated because the owner did not have proper permits.
