Knehans still listed as teacher with state
Thursday, July 12, 2012
A former Jefferson City teacher facing trial for sexual contact with a student remains on the state rolls as an active teacher despite a promise to surrender his teaching license.
After a couple of previous dates were scheduled and later canceled, Christopher Knehans’ trial now is set for Sept. 25.
Last October, a Cole County grand jury indicted Knehans, 38, of 740 Glendale Drive, on two counts of sexual contact with a female student. Knehans was a band teacher at both Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Jefferson City High School until March 28.

so, this man is a sexual predator, because the girl(s) were under 18, which means he has to register with the state, which means he's not supposd to be around schools, but this state still has him as an ACTIVE TEACHER??? yea, its the welfare recipients that need to be drug tested .....
