Glaser leaving Missouri for Missouri State

Missouri backup quarterback Ashton Glaser announced on Twitter he will transfer to Missouri State.

Glaser, from Springdale, Ark., played in just one game in his career, the fourth quarter of Missouri’s 69-0 win against Western Illinois last season.

The move leaves Missouri with three scholarship quarterbacks, James Franklin, Corbin Berkstresser and freshman Maty Mauk

Had he stayed, Glaser would likely have been the No. 3 quarterback behind Franklin and Berkstresser.

He will be eligible to play immediately because Missouri State is a Football Championship Subdivision school.
