Prestigious winery joins Central Missouri barrel maker for anniversary

Central Missouri wine lovers and producers can rub shoulders with one of America’s premier wineries from Napa Valley, Calif., at a special anniversary event next Sunday.

Silver Oak Cellars will stop in Central Missouri to celebrate its 40th anniversary with A&K Cooperage, a rural family-owned business that makes the oak barrels used to age the famous wine. Coincidentally, A & K is also turning 40, so the two businesses are celebrating together.
