Expansions possible for next year, organizers say

Thursday Night Live has wrapped up another June that brought some changes and even larger crowds than years past, as ways to handle security and possible expansions are discussed for next year.

The Jefferson City Council is poised to approve a bill Monday that would eliminate the November 2012 expiration for temporary outdoor consumption permits. Event organizer Jill Snodgrass said with that change, as well as the expanded area for permits, Thursday Night Live may look at extensions of both the area and the time frame next year.
