The new district football format meant the Helias Crusaders would have to find nine regular-season games, not seven.
"We had trouble filling seven, when in all reality, the regular season didn't matter," Helias coach Phil Pitts said.
But with the addition of Vashon in the last 10 days, Pitts and the Crusaders have a full nine-game slate set for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
"We've got a good mix of challenging games," Pitts said.
Helias had eight opponents set before Christmas. But a hole in week 5 was proving tough to fill.
