Lincoln women honored at Classic

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The Lincoln women’s track team had three first-place finishes in the Jawhawk Classic held Friday.

The Blue Tigers got victories from Yanique Haye in the 400-meter dash (57.28), Shakeisha Miller in the 60-meter hurdles (8.84) and Tamara Keane in the 200-meter dash (25.12).

Haye and Miller were among the three Lincoln performers to place in two individual events. Haye was also seventh in the 60-meter hurdles (9.15), Miller was also eighth in the long jump (5.34 meters) and Nickeisha Beaumont was second in the long jump (5.94 meters) and eighth in the 60-meter dash (7.80).
