The Dollar General Distribution Center in Fulton and the city of Fulton were honored Thursday for hiring veterans.
Receiving Flag of Freedom Awards were Steve McCormick, representing Dollar General, and Mayor LeRoy Benton, representing the city of Fulton.
The awards were presented by Lt. Col. Alan Rohlfing, director of the Show-Me Heroes award program, and Jerry Brown, representing the Mexico Career Center and the Missouri Division of Workforce Development.
