Your Opinion: Agent Orange letter advances project

A few weeks ago the News Tribune published a letter about Project Agent Orange — a project started by a local member of this community. I am glad to report that the letter was reprinted in part on the Project Agent Orange website: http://projectagentorange.com/ and was also one of the contributing factors to assisting the project in receiving funding.

The Oppenheimer Family Foundation made a $5,000 donation to the project.

This money will be used to assist families with Agent Orange victims with the idea that a healthier lifestyle can positively impact on children 5 and under making them stronger and more able to succeed cognitively and physically as they move towards adulthood.

I just wanted to thank you for publishing the letter and I wanted you to be the first to know how the letter published in your newspaper impacted on making this project a reality.

Issue-oriented letters to the editor in response to this or about other local topics are welcome. All letters should be limited to 400 words.
