COLUMBIA, Mo. — As the Missouri basketball team continues to deal with the highly improbable run of success it has experienced this season, there is one thing that will be a lock from now through March.

Missouri’s high national ranking and gaudy record will bring out the best in its opponent.

It’s something the No. 2 Tigers (18-1) will guard against as they play today at struggling Oklahoma State (6:30 p.m., ESPN2-TV).
