The March of Dimes has announced the next March for Babies fundraising event will be held April 29 at Memorial Park in Jefferson City.
Registration will be at 12:30 p.m.; the walk will be at 1:30 p.m.
Christy Carel, division director for the Central Division March of Dimes chapter, also announced the Troy and Lisa Feltrop family as the Ambassador Family and Sally Moore and Donna English as chairwomen for this year's event.
Moore and English are both mothers, and both say they are committed to helping such a worthy cause.
Kyle Feltrop, the oldest child of Lisa and Troy, was born nine weeks early, but today is a healthy, strong and happy 12-year-old.
The Feltrops are walking this year to show their support for the research that helped save their son's life.
Last year, the walk raised more than $130,000.
