COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri forward Ricardo Ratliffe reached a point earlier this season where he wasn't happy with how he was shooting free throws.
When his percentage dropped below 60 percent, he and the coaching staff decided it was time for a change. The senior shot free throws until he made 100 after every practice, 75 more than every player is required to make daily. He watched film of his shots and the coaching staff pointed out a mechanical flaw in his shot.
Since then he's raised his percentage back into the mid-60s. He made 7-of-8 free throws in Monday's win against Texas A&M.
