Thursday, January 19, 2012
Prosecutors will be in court Friday morning, asking Cole County Associate Circuit Judge Tom Sodergren for an order to compel Sheena C. Clark to give a blood sample.
Clark, 27, Kansas City, remained in the Cole County Jail on Wednesday with no bond.
She was charged Saturday with delivering a controlled substance — marijuana — to a correctional facility, a Class C felony, and with third-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, for biting a sheriff’s deputy at the Cole County Jail.
If she’s convicted of the drug charge, Clark could be sentenced to up to seven years in prison, while the assault charge has a maximum punishment of one year.
