SW Mo. volunteer firefighter dies in car crash

BRANSON, Mo. (AP) — A volunteer firefighter with the Western Taney County Fire District died after a traffic accident in Branson.

Fire Chief Ted Martin says the firefighter died after a collision Monday night at a city intersection.

The accident also critically injured two women in the second vehicle. The victims' names haven't been released.

KY3-TV (http://bit.ly/zBD89b) reports that the volunteer firefighter wasn't responding to a call at the time of the accident.
