Samaritan Center gets Governor’s Prayer Breakfast offering

For the third year, Jefferson City’s Samaritan Center has benefited from Gov. Jay Nixon’s call for donations during the annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast.

Marking the “MLK Day of Service,” Nixon on Monday presented a $2,315 check to the Samaritan Center volunteer executive director, Marylyn DeFeo.
