Truman State pounds the glass in rout of LU women

Everybody deserves a second chance. Lincoln gave Truman State a whole bunch of them.

The Bulldogs gathered 20 offensive rebounds and converted them into 20 second-chance points on their way to a 70-48 victory over Lincoln on Saturday at Jason Gym.

“It was just a lack of effort,” Lincoln coach Katie Vaughn said.

Lincoln entered the contest ranked second in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association in rebounds allowed per game, giving up just 32.2 rebounds per outing. Truman State collected ....
