On Friday night, Dylan Linsenbardt of Helias lost by a second-period fall to John Erneste of Park Hill in pool action in the Capital City Invitational at Fleming Fieldhouse.
The two state-ranked wrestlers met again Saturday night for the 113-pound title.
After falling into an early deficit, Linsenbardt was able to work Erneste on his back for a third-period fall to take the title.
