It was a great escape for Lincoln.
The Blue Tigers built a big lead, lost it and then came up clutch down the stretch to steal a 68-64 victory from Truman State on Saturday at Jason Gym.
Lincoln shot a sizzling 59 percent from the field in the first half while building a 16-point lead. After Truman State cut the lead to 11 at halftime (37-26), the Blue Tigers scored the first seven points of the second half to go ahead by 18. Lincoln was rolling.
