A Holts Summit woman was treated for moderate injuries after a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in north Jefferson City.

According to police reports, at 10:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Missouri 94 in Callaway County for an injury accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger car.

The investigation determined the car, driven by Geraldine Adams, 50, Holts Summit, was going southbound on U.S. 63 in the left-turn lane to travel eastbound on U.S. 54.

She failed to yield to the tractor trailer, driven by Robert Morris, 43, Iberia, which was going westbound on Missouri 94.

Adams turned in front of Morris, causing Morris to strike the front of Adams’ vehicle.

Morris was not hurt.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
