Missouri executes inmate for 1993 farm slaying April 23, 2014

MOKANE, Mo. — Montgomery County, New Haven, North Callaway and Hermann advanced to the semifinals of the South Callaway Tournament with victories Tuesday night.

Jake Schannuth scored 28 points to lead top-seeded Hermann to a 69-35 victory against No. 8 Russellville.

No. 2 New Haven was a 63-32 winner over No. 7 New Bloomfield.

Lance Gerlemann had 20 points to lead New Haven, while Charlie Tritch had 16 while Ryan Menke had 12.

In the first of two upsets, No. 5 North Callaway pulled out a 50-46 win against No. 4 South Callaway.

No. 6 Montgomery County defeated third-seeded Harrisburg 71-61.
