After finishing second in last year's GFI Duals, the Jays wanted to make sure they picked up some hardware this year.
Jefferson City went 4-0 in dual matches to win its home tournament Saturday at Fleming Fieldhouse.
"One of the things we said to them was we had an opportunity to win a tournament," Jefferson City head coach Phil Cagle said. "We had some kids in that last match step up and win."
The Jays picked up dual wins against Lee's Summit North (52-17), Cape Girardeau Central (72-6), Platte County (42-26) and Lee's Summit West (45-24).
The Jays finished with 211 total points. Platte County was a distant second with 157 points.
