Tebbetts man sentenced for vehicle assault

A Tebbetts man was placed on two years supervised probation for pleading guilty to three counts of third-degree assault in connection with an April 2010 car crash that killed a Centertown man in Callaway County.

Judge Gary Oxendhandler sentenced Timothy Suggett, 24, who must also serve a 30-day shock detention sentence in the Callaway County Jail.

Improper lane usage was believed to be a contributing factor in causing the crash, according to a Jefferson City Police Department accident reconstruction report.

The crash occurred in the early morning hours of April 1, 2010, near the entrance to the ABB manufacturing plant on Missouri 94.
