Student leadership forum gives Lincoln student new perspective

A freshman at Lincoln University, Terrance Brown hoped for a behind-the-scenes role on his class council. Instead, he was elected secretary.

And this week, he found himself coming back to Jefferson City earlier than the start of the spring semester, as he joined another 40 student leaders from Missouri colleges and universities.

These campus leaders were nominated by their respective schools' administrations to participate in the Missouri Governor's Student Leadership Forum, which wrapped up Thursday following the Governor's Prayer Breakfast.
