‘Boxcar Children’ come to life in SGT production

The Depression-era adventures of “The Boxcar Children” will come to life on the Stained Glass Theatre of Mid-Missouri stage Jan. 12-28.

Orphaned and in danger of being sent to different foster homes, the four Alden siblings run away and make their home in an abandoned railroad boxcar.

Pursued by the authorities and a mysterious stranger, the children discover the rewards and perils of life on the run, as well as the joy of keeping their family together.

Tickets are $7 for the Thursday show and $8 for the Friday and Saturday shows. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday. Call (573) 634-5313 for more information or see www.sgtmidmo.org
