Lincoln center Vivian Essuon earned a share of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her efforts last week.
Essuon shared the award with Emporia State forward Merissa Quick.
Essuon, a senior from Brampton, Ontario, scored a gamehigh 18 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds in Lincoln’s lone game last week, a 69-64 win Friday over Northwest Missouri State.
Essuon connected on 9-of-12 shots in the victory and also chipped in with three steals and one block.
