Lincoln stuggles late in loss to Pitt State

Lincoln appeared to be a different team on many occasions in its opening contest of 2012. The Blue Tigers were hitting shots, playing solid defense and rebounding the ball. The fans were into the game and the players were hooping and hollering.

Then the inevitable happened with the game on the line. The Blue Tigers stopped hitting shots, stopped getting stops and couldn’t take care of the ball. Pittsburg State capitalized on Lincoln’s mistakes to escape with a 69-63 victory Wednesday night at Jason Gym.
