Jays pin 57-22 loss on Bulldogs

The combination of a second-place finish at the Deep South Bayou Classic last week in Baton Rouge, La. and preparation for its upcoming tournament Saturday made it a great time for Jefferson City’s dual against Rolla.

The Jays won 10 of the 12 contested matches Wednesday night and rolled to a 57-22 win at Fleming Fieldhouse on Senior Night.

“Rolla’s down and they’re usually a pretty good team,” Jefferson City head coach Phil Cagle said. They’ll get back up. You go in cycles sometimes.”
