MSP museum to open in 2013

A Missouri State Penitentiary Museum is coming in 2013.

The second floor of 100 E. High St., where the Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau is located, offers an open floor plan to display artifacts from the retired prison.

Lucinda Herrick will design the museum.

Then, a search will be conducted for specific artifacts related to chosen themes.
