COLUMBIA, Mo. - Coming off back-to-back losses that damaged Missouri's hopes of a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, the Tigers appeared in danger of a third straight Wednesday night against Iowa State.

The Cyclones outmuscled the Tigers to take a 40-36 halftime advantage, in similar fashion to Missouri's loss last week to Kansas State. But on Senior Night, Missouri's veteran-laden team didn't appear interested in ending their Mizzou Arena careers with a loss.

Five Tigers finished in double figures and Missouri fought off Iowa State down the stretch for a 78-72 victory.
