Lady Crusaders come through at the line

WASHINGTON, Mo. — This one was for all the marbles.

After Helias and St. Francis Borgia split a pair of tightly-contested games during the regular season, the rubber match between the Lady Crusaders and Lady Knights had a little more on the line — a trip to the quarterfinals.

Helias rode stout fourth-quarter defense and clutch free throw shooting to a 54-41 victory over Borgia in the Class 4 sectionals Wednesday night at Washington High School.
