California girls rally past Dixon

COLE CAMP, Mo. — Down by double digits at halftime Wednesday night, the California Lady Pintos rallied to take a 48-46 victory over the Dixon Lady Bulldogs in the semifinals of the Class 3 District 10 Tournament.

Dixon led 21-15 after one quarter and 35-24 at intermission. California cut the deficit to 42-34 after three quarters, then used a 14-4 advantage in the final period to take the victory.

With the win, second-seeded California advances to Saturday night’s title game against top-seeded Skyline. Game time is 6 p.m. at Versailles High School.
