A student at Jefferson City High School faces suspension after police found him in possession of marijuana at the school on Wednesday.
Officers were also called to the Jefferson City High School where after-school officials received a tip a male student was found to have a small amount of marijuana. The student was taken to the Prenger Family Attention Center.
The student could receive up to 10 days of suspension and have his case referred to the superintendent’s office.

Good thing they caught him, otherwise he would be shooting heroine next week. Everyone knows that maraijuana causes people to go completely crazy and use heroine and LSD next.
Is this the first time marijuana was found at JCHS? Good thing it was stopped now. People go crazy on that stuff, and we don't want other students to try it.

serious guys. please keep the marijuana at home. every time they have to send a officer out for something so minor they are using resources that could of been used to nail a heroin dealer

Where is that guy with the wild eyes and long curly hair playing jazz on the piano?
What happened to that innocent young couple after they left that accursed house on the wrong side of the tracks? Did they get some tattoos...on their hineys? Did they go into ...politics? Oh, the shame of it all!

Shame is, the kid is gonna have this Reefer Bust on his/her record for a while and that could really goof up future plans. I don't condone the weed, but I certainly understand and can tolerate this type of behavior from a HS student more so than I can the illegal drug use/ possession from adults who certainly know better. I say, if the kiod isn't a basket case or problem child, let the kid walk...turn him/her over to his parents, BUT MAKE HIM DO SOME COMMUNITY SERVICE! After all he did break the law and there are consequences. Also, the kid got the weed from somebody and that somebody is most certainly an adult. So let's help the kids if we can, but we certainly have to drop the hammer on the adults, because they are the one's who already had a chance to make mistakes and certainly know better.

He probably got the weed from his parents!
The kid needs to be spanked for being dumb enough to bring it to school, that's all. This is such a no-news story. Its the adults who need to have the hammer dropped on them for keeping weed illegal and for making school so boring and irrelevant to these kids that they feel the have to smoke a little weed to get through the school day.
