MoDOT will hold an open-house community briefing today from 4:30 - 6 p.m. to discuss plans to replace three bridges located in Callaway County. The bridges include:
Route PP, Middle River located about two miles north of Route 94
Route 94, East Wing Creek located just east of Mokane
Route 94, Eagle Creek located west of Route D
The community briefing will be held in the Commons area of the South Callaway R-II High School, 10135 State Road C, Mokane, Mo. No formal presentations will be made and the public may attend the briefing at any time during the advertised hours. Staff from MoDOT will be available to talk with the public about project plans and schedules, estimated closure durations, and proposed detours.
Work on the bridges will take place this spring and summer. The bridges will be closed during construction and traffic will be detoured. Closure days vary for each bridge but range from 43 to 54 days.
