Experience is definitely on their side.

The Jefferson City Lady Jays will begin their bid for a third straight Class 5 District 9 Tournament basketball title when they take on the Hickman Kewpies today (7:15 p.m. tip) at Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School.

The Lady Jays believe they’re ready for the two tough games they will face to win the tournament.
