Kansas State beats Missouri again

COLUMBIA - When Kansas State beat Missouri 75-59 on Jan. 7 in Manhattan, Kan., the Wildcats did so thanks in large part to their defensive pressure and a strong shooting performance, frustrating Missouri on offense and defense.

It looked a lot like Tuesday night at Mizzou Arena.

The Wildcats shot 53 percent from the floor and sent the third-ranked Tigers to a 78-68 defeat, their first at Mizzou Arena this season.

The Tigers (25-3, 12-3 Big 12) are a half-game behind Kansas for the conference lead. The two meet Saturday in Lawrence.
