Candlelight vigil set following boy's death

Following the Feb. 16 death of 3-year-old Stover resident Blake Litton, two Stover residents have organized a community march and vigil to be held Thursday.

The "It's All About Blake" march and candlelight vigil will take place at 5 p.m. at the Morgan County R-I School. Guests will march around Morgan County R-1 and then be led into the Stover Park where the candlelight vigil will be held.

Last Friday, Jamie Litton, 25, Stover, was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the Thursday morning death of Blake, her son. Earlier Friday, Litton's boyfriend, Thomas Presley, 21, Stover, was charged with second-degree murder in the case.

All proceeds from the event as well as any donations given by the community will go toward the funeral expenses, medical and supportive needs for Blake and his siblings.
