Cole County Treasurer Eric Peters has announced he will seek a second term as treasurer.
Peters was first elected treasurer, as a Republican, in 2008. He previously served two terms as county commissioner, being elected in 1996 and again in 2000.
Peters said his re-election campaign in January opened a headquarters in Jefferson City at 1717 Christy Lane adjacent to Domino's Pizza.
