Lincoln men host Emporia St. in game with playoff implications

It all comes down to the next five days.

In that time span, the playoff fate of the Lincoln men’s basketball team will be determined.

The Blue Tigers sit in a three-way tie for the eighth and final spot in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association postseason tournament. And wouldn’t you know, Lincoln faces those two other teams in the next five days. It starts Saturday when Lincoln hosts Emporia State at 3:30 p.m. at Jason Gym.

It will continue Wednesday when the Blue Tigers travel to take on Truman State. Lincoln finishes the season next Saturday at Washburn, but it seems likely the muddled postseason picture will be clear by then.
