Mixed bag for Fatima, Versailles wrestlers

COLUMBIA, Mo. — It was a mixed bag for the Versailles Tigers and the Fatima Comets on the first day of the Class 1 Missouri State High School Activities Association Wrestling Championships.

Both of the two area teams competing at Mizzou Arena won some matches, lost some matches, and lost the injury battle.

The Tigers had two of their four wrestlers advance to today’s quarterfinal action with opening-round victories.
