Helias duo look to exceed seedings at state championships

Sometimes you can win by losing. Or at least improve your chances.

That appears to be the case for Helias teammates Dylan Linsenbardt and Logan Shea as they prepare for today’s opening round of the Class 3 Missouri State High School Activities Association Wrestling Championships at Mizzou Arena.

“In both of our situations, we drew some good districts for our first-round matches that could help us in the big picture,” Helias coach Travis Reinsch said. “The later round district tournament matches we had last weekend could be tougher than what we could see in the first round (today).”
