Area schools feature talented wrestlers

With a pair of compelling first-round matchups, the Versailles Tigers will have their work cut out for them on the first day of the Class 1 Missouri State High School Activities Association Wrestling Championships.

The Tigers qualified four for the event, and two of them are state-ranked wrestlers facing state-ranked foes.

Versailles’ Isaiah Clark is the state’s second-ranked 138-pounder, and he’ll open against South Harrison’s Trey Lathrum, ranked No. 7.
