Missouri looks to avenge earlier loss to Oklahoma State

COLUMBIA, Mo. - After Missouri lost its second game of the season on Jan. 25, the Tigers wanted to use the late collapse against Oklahoma State as a learning experience to get better.

So far, so good for Missouri as the Cowboys come today to Mizzou Arena (8 p.m., ESPN2-TV) for Round 2.

The third-ranked Tigers have bounced back from the 79-72 defeat with five straight wins, and are a half-game behind Kansas for the Big 12 Conference lead.

"You saw close ball games down the stretch after that where we played much better," Missouri coach Frank Haith said. "We've learned from our experiences and most good ball clubs do."
