LU women can wrap up spot in MIAA tourney with home victory

A postseason berth is on the line for the Lincoln women.

The Blue Tigers can clinch a spot in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association tournament with a victory when they host Missouri Western at 5:30 p.m. today at Jason Gym.

A win would ensure Lincoln (13-9, 7-9 MIAA) of a top-eight finish in the league, as ninth-place Southwest Baptist (4-13) would be unable to catch the Blue Tigers. Only the top eight teams from the 11-team conference qualify for the postseason tournament. Lincoln sits in sixth place with four conference games remaining.
