Local woman arrested with large drug cache

False report charge also likely

A Jefferson City woman is facing criminal charges after police found a large amount of narcotics in her home and after she gave false information about someone breaking into her home and assaulting her.

Taleesha Brown, 32, of 615 Ohio St., is charged with possession of cocaine and resisting arrest.

A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement shows the incident occurred around 2:33 p.m. Monday.
