PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Ryan Callahan scored three goals and the New York Rangers beat Philadelphia 5-2 on Saturday for their seventh straight win over the Flyers.
Marian Gaborik and Artem Anisimov also had goals for the Eastern Conference-leading Rangers, who broke out of their power-play funk and improved to 5-0 against the Flyers this season.
It was a rare display on special teams that catapulted the Rangers to their second victory over Philadelphia in seven days. New York had a season-high three goals on the power play. The Rangers increased their lead to six points over the Flyers in the Atlantic Division and have two games in hand.
The Rangers entered with the fourth-worst, power-play unit in the NHL, converting just 13.4 percent of their chances.
Claude Giroux and Wayne Simmonds had Philadelphia's goals. The Flyers have lost four of five, and are losing their hold on fourth place in the East.
Henrik Lundqvist had 31 saves in the victory.
PANTHERS 3, DEVILS 1
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Scott Clemmensen stopped 27 shots against his former team, and Florida beat New Jersey.
Sean Bergenheim, Kris Versteeg and Mikael Samuelsson scored for the Panthers, who have won four of six. Florida stretched its Southeast Division-lead over Washington to two points with just its second road win in 12 games.
Steve Bernier scored for the Devils and Martin Brodeur made 18 saves, but New Jersey has lost two straight for the first time since a three-game skid from Jan. 19-24.
Bernier and Bergenheim traded goals in the first period. It was Bernier's first goal since Feb. 10, 2011.
FLAMES 3, CANUCKS 2, SO
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Jarome Iginla scored the shootout winner and Calgary beat Vancouver to earn an important two points.
The shootout was tied through two rounds, with Olli Jokinen scoring for Calgary and Alex Burrows replying for Vancouver, which set the stage for Iginla - the Flames' captain and all-time leading scorer.
Iginla put the Flames ahead when he faked a shot, drew it around Roberto Luongo and jammed it in while he was falling. Miikka Kiprusoff denied Mason Raymond to clinch the victory.
Mike Cammalleri and rookie Roman Horak scored for Calgary.
Cody Hodgson and David Booth scored as Vancouver closed a 3-0-1 road trip.
BRUINS 4, PREDATORS 3, SO
BOSTON (AP) - Tyler Seguin and Patrice Bergeron scored shootout goals to lift Boston over Nashville.
Boston forced overtime when Milan Lucic scored a power-play goal with 67 seconds left in regulation after goalie Tim Thomas was pulled for an extra skater.
Daniel Paille and Bergeron also scored for the Bruins, who had lost seven of 12.
Thomas stopped 19 shots in regulation, and then turned aside Sergei Kostitsyn and Martin Erat in the shootout.
Mike Fisher, Shea Weber and Patric Hornqvist scored for Nashville, which lost for the fourth time in five games. Pekka Rinne, who had won 20 of 24 games, made 38 saves through overtime.
The Bruins rebounded from a 6-0 loss at Buffalo on Wednesday.
PENGUINS 8, JETS 5
PITTSBURGH (AP) - Evgeni Malkin added to his NHL-leading point total, scoring a goal and dishing out four assists as Pittsburgh rolled past Winnipeg.
Kris Letang scored twice and had an assist for the Penguins. Richard Park notched his 100th career NHL goal, and Jordan Staal scored in his first game after missing more than a month with a left knee injury.
James Neal, Chris Kunitz and Dustin Jeffery also scored for the Penguins, who erased an early 2-0 deficit and won their fifth straight home game.
Tim Stapleton, Dustin Byfuglien and Bryan Little all had a goal and an assist for the Jets, but Winnipeg couldn't keep up when the Penguins got going. Ondrej Pavelec stopped just 31 of 39 shots and fell to 1-9 against Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury wasn't much sharper, stopping 20 of 25 shots.
COYOTES 3, BLACKHAWKS 0
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Mike Smith made 38 saves for his third shutout of the season to help Phoenix beat fading Chicago for its fifth straight win.
Radim Vrbata, Boyd Gordon and Kyle Chipchura scored for the Coyotes, three points behind Chicago in the Western Conference standings. Phoenix is in eighth place in the West, two points ahead of Colorado, which lost to St. Louis 3-2 in overtime earlier Saturday.
The Blackhawks lost their eighth straight overall - their longest skid since the 2007-08 season - and 10th in a row on the road. Chicago's last win was Jan. 20 against Florida.
Smith has 14 NHL shutouts.
ISLANDERS 2, KINGS 1, OT
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) - Mark Streit's goal 1:36 into overtime lifted the New York Islanders over Los Angeles.
The Islanders captain split the Kings defense and beat goalie Jonathan Quick with a backhander for this fifth goal this season. Matt Moulson and Andrew MacDonald earned assists.
The Islanders (23-23-8) improved to 7-2-2 in their last 11 games, but the Kings (26-19-11) continued to struggle on their six-game road trip.
Michael Grabner scored his 15th goal at 6:52 of the first, sliding a loose puck past Quick.
Andrei Loktionov scored his first goal of the season to tie it for the Kings at 5:20 of the second period. The rebound goal originally was credited to captain Dustin Brown.
Evgeni Nabokov made 34 saves to earn the win. In his last three starts against the Kings - all wins - Nabokov has stopped 103 of 106 shots.
The Kings have scored just six goals in five games on their trip, and three came in their lone win over Tampa Bay.
OILERS 4, SENATORS 3, OT
OTTAWA (AP) - Taylor Hall scored 17 seconds into overtime, and Edmonton snapped a two-game losing streak by beating Ottawa.
Hall backhanded a rebound past Craig Anderson for his 19th goal as Edmonton improved to 5-2-1 in its last eight games.
Magnus Paajarvi scored his first goal of the season and assisted on Shawn Horcoff's tally 42 seconds into the third. Horcoff also assisted on Hall's goal.
Nikolai Khabibulin made 39 saves, and Ben Eager also scored for Edmonton.
Erik Karlsson had a goal and an assist for Ottawa, and Jason Spezza had two assists. Daniel Alfredsson and Milan Michalek also scored for the Senators, who have lost eight of nine (1-7-1).
Anderson stopped 36 shots in his NHL-leading 50th start this season.
LIGHTNING 2, SABRES 1
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Steven Stamkos had a goal and assist, and resurgent Tampa Bay beat Buffalo for its seventh win in 10 games.
Mathieu Garon made 26 saves, and Steve Downie also scored during the Lightning's two-goal second period. Tampa Bay (24-24-6) is on a 7-1-2 roll and has earned at least a point in a season-high four straight road games (3-0-1).
Jason Pominville scored Buffalo's lone goal 7:07 into the third period in a game in which the Sabres came out flat while playing for the third time in four nights. The Sabres managed 13 shots through two periods and 27 overall.
Buffalo failed to earn a point for the first time in seven games (5-1-1), and lost in regulation at home for the first time in 11 (6-1-4), dating to a loss to the New York Rangers on Dec. 10.
CANADIENS 5, MAPLE LEAFS 0
TORONTO (AP) - Carey Price turned aside 32 shots, and Montreal hammered Toronto after the Maple Leafs retired the famous No. 13 of longtime former captain Mats Sundin.
It was the third straight loss for the Maple Leafs, who remained in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Montreal has won four in a row and is seven points back of the postseason cutoff.
Erik Cole, Rene Bourque, Max Pacioretty, Lars Eller and Mathieu Darche scored goals for the Canadiens (23-24-9).
The Maple Leafs (28-22-6) absorbed their worst loss since being beaten 7-0 by Boston on Nov. 5.
BLUE JACKETS 3, WILD 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - R.J. Umberger scored two goals, one on a power play with 21 seconds left in the second period, to send Columbus over stumbling Minnesota Wild on Saturday night.
Defenseman James Wisniewski had an empty-net goal in the final minute and added an assist in his first time back from a 17-game absence because of an ankle injury. Rick Nash assisted on both of Umberger's goals to give the NHL-worst Blue Jackets their second win this week against the Wild.
Devin Setoguchi had a goal for the second straight game, a snap shot in the first period off a sharp pass by Mikko Koivu that gave the Wild the lead. But Umberger answered less than 5 minutes later, scoring on a slap shot that slipped through traffic and past goalie Niklas Backstrom with 56 seconds remaining in the opening frame.
The Wild are 5-15-5 since mid-December, when they had the NHL's best record at the 30-game mark.
BLUES 3, AVALANCHE 2, OT
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Carlo Colaiacovo scored 3:18 into overtime to give St. Louis a win over Colorado.
David Perron added two goals and an assist as the Blues won for the fourth time in five games and improved to 15-0-3 in their last 18 at home. St. Louis, among the NHL's best home teams at 23-3-4, has earned at least one point in a franchise-record 18 straight games overall.
Shane O'Brien and Erik Johnson scored for the Avalanche, who snapped a two-game winning streak with their sixth loss in eight games.
Colaiacovo tipped in a shot from Patrik Berglund to help the Blues improve to 5-7 in overtime games.
