A Fulton boy, 13, was listed as stable Saturday afternoon at the University of Missouri's Women's and Children's Hospital in Columbia, after he lost control of a southbound 2004 Dodge Durango on Callaway County Road 101, east of Fulton.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said the accident happened at 9:25 a.m. Saturday as the boy - Robert I. Bishop - was speeding on the county road, near Grey Stone Drive.
The pickup ran off the road and struck a tree.
The patrol said Bishop wasn't wearing a seat belt and there was no one else in the vehicle.
