Three holdups net man 12 years in prison

A Jefferson City man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to three counts of first-degree robbery.

Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce sentenced Evan M. Hake, 20, of 2114 Timber Road, to 12 years in prison along with long-term drug treatment in prison.

Hake admitted to having committed the Oct. 4, 2011 holdup of Break Time, 1907 E. McCarty St.

The other two robberies he pleaded guilty to were at Subway, 905 Eastland Dr. He attempted to rob the sandwich shop earlier that evening on Oct. 4 and also robbed it on Sept. 5.
