Grand jury indicts woman on drug charges, including heroin

Indictments handed down from the Cole County Grand Jury this week included a Jefferson City resident who was taken into custody when police served a drug search warrant at her apartment in January.
According to court documents, Tequila Thompson, 23, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of diazepam and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
The grand jury also indicted an Iowa teenager involved in a rollover accident along Missouri 179 in December.
Jordyn Salke, 17, the driver, is charged with felony second-degree assault, felony possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of careless and imprudent driving.
