Several Blue Tigers place in top eight at Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. — Led by a win from Romel Lewis, the Lincoln track and field team put up several top-eight finishes in the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational hosted by the University of Nebraska on Saturday.

The Blue Tigers were competing against the host school and more than 10 other Division I schools in the one-day event.

Lewis’ win came in the 60-meter dash, as he broke the tape in a time of 6.74.
